Sunflower

I have always been a lover of the sunflower and over the years have had so much pleasure from seeing sunflowers growing in the fields when we travelled through France. I love the way sunflowers stand so tall and proud with their giant heads following the sun. Sunflowers have a way of instantly making you feel positive and happy with their big sunny faces smiling up at you.The texture in the centre of the sunflower, as you can imagine, feeds my love of bobbles!  Each sunflower in my collections centre is studded with my signature bobble texture which plays with the light and then surrounded by almost graphic looped petals. I’ve also tried to capture the essence of the flower on the back of each sunflower head.
