My Rice Pearl Necklace in solid 9ct gold features multiple chains decorated with groups of rice pearl beads. I love the way the finished beads reflect nature and contrast beautifully with the chains – giving a softness and movement to the cold, hard metal.

I discovered some rice pearl beads in a drawer, left over from a show I did at the Barbican, and came up with the idea of casting them.
