I love getting emails from happy customers especially when there is a special story connected to the piece they have purchased. The sample owl pendant in my recent sale sold quickly and I want to share with you the email I received from the customer who purchased it she lives in America.
"I’ve been enjoying my serpent ring so much, and just saw your email today, and I came across your owl inspired items! I just recently took over my father’s veterinary hospital, and I made my logo and business name all involving snowy owls, and wanted to commemorate “taking flight,” so to speak 😊. It was such a hard choice between the sample necklace and Harry Potter's eagle owl inspired ring, but I figured the necklace probably will be the first to be gone, and I can always come back for it when I am able. Occasionally I have a Sale where I sell off samples, discontinued pieces, seconds and other selected items from my current range. I recently had one of these sales the first in two years. I have always had such good support and loyalty from my customers for which I am so grateful. To a small business like mine it is vital to have the support from local and world wide customers.
Included in the sale was the sample for my new 'Owl Heart Amulet' necklace. I designed this piece on my sabbatical in France last year.
This handcrafted Owl Heart amulet pendant is made from hallmarked sterling silver and designed to embody both love and wisdom. Inspired by the African Adinkra symbol odo nyera fie kwan (“love always finds its way home”) and the ancient mythology of owls, this unique artisan silver pendant carries a powerful story.
Finished with two glistening red rubies – the eternal symbol of love – this silver heart necklace is a meaningful talisman for those seeking comfort, wisdom, and connection. Its unusual design makes a unique and personal mythology-inspired jewellery gift.
The only difference with the sample pendant in this sale was the ring the pendant is suspended on from the chain. It is a pain jump ring apposed to a textured bail.
